Signature Consultants’ CFO Richard Outram Joins Board of Directors for Step Up for Students

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (November 28, 2012) – Signature Consultants, one of the largest IT staffing firms in the U.S., announced its executive vice president and chief financial officer, Richard Outram, joined the board of directors for Step Up for Students (SUFS) on September 20 of this year.

As a board member, Outram will aid in developing and executing the organization’s strategic plan and goals. His CFO experience spans over 10 years, three of which have been with Signature Consultants. Outram received the support of Signature Consultants’ president and CEO, Jay Cohen, who also shares a passion for children’s education.

My involvement with Step Up For Students aligns to those values,” said Outram. “Enabling choice and opportunity in education is very important to me. I fully support and am passionate about helping the organization meet its growth goals to put as many students through the SUFS scholarship system as possible.”

Step Up for Students is a nonprofit organization dedicated to broadening educational opportunities for children in Florida living in or near poverty. The organization provides Tax Credit Scholarships to K-12 students who come from low-income families. Through the scholarship, families have the option to explore private schools or public schools in other districts that better fit the needs of the students.
