What little reprieve the pandemic provided to the available supply of tech talent is now all but over, returning the U.S. to a tight and competitive market as the industry resumes year-on-year growth according to the latest national data.
While this is good news for the financial future of the tech industry, it does pose significant challenges to finding enough skilled talent to fill open jobs. Among Signature Consultant’s client base, we saw a steady increase in new job orders over the first quarter, with high demand for all employment types – contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire.
