Hi, I’m Paul Peters, Recruiting Manager. The way I see it, finding someone with the technical expertise is the easy part. Signature’s been doing that for years, but knowing how to assess an individual’s goals and interpersonal skills, and then match them to a company that can appreciate them, that’s an art few staffing firms get right. This is where our “friends first” approach really pays off.

By getting to know our clients and our consultants on a personal level, we gain a better understanding of what both are looking for. For example, if a company is looking for a contract worker, we won’t send them a consultant looking for a permanent position. And conversely, we won’t recommend a candidate who’s looking for temporary work when the client wants contract to hire. We consider our long-term relationships more valuable than any short-term gains we might get by cutting corners.

Whether it’s a Fortune 500 company or a small local business, we get to know our clients’ local labor markets, their businesses, their IT initiatives and their company culture. Then, when they need an individual, or an entire team, we make the best match because we’ve taken the time to build the relationship first.
