Our Consultant Care team was created organically within the organization to build on strong, long-term relationships with clients and consultants, allowing us to recruit and retain the best consultants, effectively manage cost, and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

In action

Difficult situations often bring out the best in relationships. Anna H. was working as a project manager for a major financial firm when her boss unexpectedly needed surgery and had a lengthy recovery—just as Anna’s department was hit with a major audit. “I was overwhelmed and frustrated, literally pulling my hair out. I didn’t know how I’d get it all done.”

The very next day she received calls from two of her associates at Signature. “They asked, ‘How can we help you get this done?’ They were looking out for me and helped me overcome this obstacle. It’s nice when someone gives you encouragement like your mom, but it’s really beneficial to have a level of professional support from peers who can bring real expertise and skills to the table. They helped me persevere.”

Tiffany J. was a project coordinator for a software company when she met Signature senior resource manager, Gary W., five years ago. “We talked over the course of about two years about how I could move my career forward in project management.” Through Signature’s Recontacting model and Consultant Care, Tiffany was able to work her way to junior project manager and then scrum master of three different teams at the automotive company where Signature placed her. Signature supported Tiffany’s career, funding a refresher course in project management and a prep class for the PMP certification test. Tiffany recently received her PMP certification, “with a lot of Gary’s encouragement. My old IT staffing firm didn’t even want to renew my contract. I was assigned a new recruiter, who didn’t have anything for me. Gary had options in a day or two. I was kind of caught off-guard with how Signature works. Even when Gary is out, someone calls to check in on me.”

Consultant Care is not only a core belief at Signature, it’s a department with dedicated staff located in several cities across the country. Ashley C., Consultant Relationship Manager, partners with recruiters and account managers to ensure that every consultant starts a new project knowing Signature is supporting them. “Consultant Care is an extension of our culture to each consultant. We believe it’s a major contributor to consultant retention and productivity.” A perfect example of this is the starter kits that Consultant Care prepares for new consultants with business essentials such as a notebook, pen, water bottle, and badge pulley. Every consultant is given one by their recruiter as they walk them in on their first day of work.

Our goal is to communicate with 100% of our active consultants EVERY WEEK.
