Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating projects from analysis through implementation for small/large complex systems and projects to improve business efficiency
  • Responsible for recommending staff assignments, schedules and tracking the progress of staff and projects to ensure timely completion
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and reporting project timelines (Gantt and PERT)
  • Systems Analysis and Design
  • Performs the systems analysis and design for small/large complex systems
  • Research, analyze, and evaluate work as a technical advocate for customers and examine existing business processes, workflow, and data flows in the business
  • Identifies data conversion procedures
  • Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs including workflow and program functions

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to organize and summarize detailed information
  • Ability to learn and understand customer business processes
  • Ability to develop accurate cost estimates for project selection purposes
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with software development life cycle
  • General knowledge of business concepts
  • Knowledge of the uses and capabilities of computers
  • Ability to clearly define system needs.
  • Ability to develop feasibility analysis
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to business problems
  • Ability to write a business plan for an IT project and determine its return on investment
  • Knowledge of the RFP process
  • Knowledge of system development methodologies and the ability to apply this knowledge to the analysis and development of computer systems
  • Ability to translate customer requests into a technical document
  • Knowledge of IT audit requirements
  • Ability to write clear and concise system documentation
  • Ability to review the work of others and identify standards violations
  • Ability to explain program deficiencies and recommend corrections
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Ability to organize sequential and non-sequential tasks
  • Understanding of staffing requirements for various project types and sizes
