Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your keen business acumen chops to set appropriate priority for your own and others work around business needs to ensure that the work is aligned to business strategy and scope of the project
  • Drive results across the business through facilitating matrixed, cross-functional stakeholder engagement sessions with both regional and global stakeholders balancing between "over-meeting" and "under-meeting"
  • Document the complex areas of project scope, objectives, added value or benefit expectations, using an integrated set of analysis and modeling technique for large sized projects being adept within an environment that may be ambiguous
  • Use your analytical horsepower to model current state business processes/functionality/gaps
  • Assist stakeholders in defining future state, success metrics, and establish a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of to ensure we get successfully somewhere over the rainbow
  • Keep rolling in the deep leading up the creation and organization of final business requirements documentation, visual process maps, and user stories ensuring complement line-of-sight / traceability from requirements to build to test to run
  • Lead work with the systems analyst to document technical requirements and identify metric driven acceptance criteria gaining feedback and facilitate decisions/alignment from the business along the way
  • Facilitate the tracking and documentation of business and stakeholder requirements building through approvals achieving all project milestones, providing pro-active communication to project managers
  • Proactively seek out where issues and risk may arise, clarify and summarize issues, provide thought leadership on resolutions, and escalate immediately when appropriate
  • Be a rock and not roll in partnering with QA to coordinate UAT business resourcing, testing, quality readiness plans, anticipating potential delays, and prioritize of break/fix items
  • Actively participate with developing and enacting plans (Project, Change Management, Communication, Training, and Risk Mitigation) to ensure a most excellent customer project launch experience
  • Get in a groove on managing business requirements and prioritization within the Product Backlog through business value ROI, alignment with business and product strategy to enhance the solutions approach
  • Lead the identification of action oriented outcomes/action items on requirements meetings and expose the causes and effects behind failure or poor results in from lessons learned sessions
  • Utilizes BA templates/tools independently as appropriate for the work and provide thought leadership to the structure of documentation to drive continuous improvements in our standard processes and rationalizing varying historical practices
  • Help us make music together by staying up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to our business analysis capability to drive repeatable and thus scalable plans and processes within the BA team

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Professional Certification(s) required or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years in a Business Analyst capacity
  • Direct experience with project management, product or software development lifecycles, and quality assurance
  • 2-4 years of experience in a global industry is preferred
  • Business functional experience is required
  • Understanding of multiple modes of communication such as email, webex, teams, zoom
  • Understanding of project management and analysis tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex information at all levels of the organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan and manage own work with clear accountability to meet give tasks
  • Strong reasoning ability, analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, able to build business partnerships with end users or IT and influence outcomes
  • Strong meeting facilitation, planning and management skills with a solid attention to details
  • Fluency in English is required. Bilingual communicator is a plus
