Calypso Consultant (SME)

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Calypso Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Clayton, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Calypso updates and Patching efforts
• Monitor Calypso during and after patching to ensure it comes up
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of SVB applications
• Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications

Requirements:

• Experience in supporting Calypso / Trading Application ecosystem [ with a minimum of 5 upstream / downstream applications]
• SRE with exceptional understanding of Java and Java Script
• Excellent knowledge on APIs (OpenShift) and how to install them
• Functional knowledge in lending, trading, fixed income, equity and FX trading platforms
• Experience in handling modern CI processes and toolchains
• Strong exposure on trading/Transfer lifecycle and cash flow of different products on capital markets
• Configuration - Static Data / Event Configs / Engine Config / User Config/ Task Config / Workflow Config / Fee Config /. Accounting Config etc.
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
• Unix/Linux administration skills
• Organized and can work under pressure, can create and work within a patching schedule
• Have good understanding of middleware
