Data Analyst w/ SQL, Excel, & banking products

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analyst w/ SQL, Excel, & banking products for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Own Production Work - support data controls, validations, and reconciliations of wholesale loans data; investigate and support remediation of data quality issues; support data needs of internal & external audits
• Support Initiatives - work with Treasury, Technology & Data partners to plan and execute against initiatives - including the creation of data specifications and completing user acceptance testing
• Identify Risks & Opportunities - understand the work, maintain documentation, and look for opportunities to reduce risks and improve processes
• Subject Matter Expertise - develop and leverage knowledge of wholesale credit products and the use of this data across Treasury needs
• Relationship Management - build and maintain relationships across Treasury (ECM, GLM, BSM, etc.), technology, project management, enterprise and line of business data teams, risk/compliance, etc

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting/finance/business/analytics or related fields
• 5+ years of data management/analysis experience
• Strong partnering and communication abilities
• Time management skills, detailed oriented, organized - able to balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
• Curious and independent thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Financial industry and credit product experience
• Experience with Capital, Liquidity, and other financial regulations
• Familiarity with Bank of America platforms / data eco-system
