Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Management Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and compile data such as financial information, employee work hours, and other facts that companies need to know
  • Identify potential risks to the security of data and find solutions to ensure data storage system integrity
  • Analyze business information, such as expenses and budget trends, and look for ways to reduce costs and increase productivity by studying the data
  • Record vital information regarding data security, systems information, and business information, using this information to create reports that highlight potential problems and fixes
  • Responsible for ensuring that data is being recorded and collected properly by management, IT teams, and other personnel who frequently work with business and system data
  • Collect data by researching potential new sources of information
  • Create and enforce data security guidelines to ensure that information stays protected and systems do not get breached

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree / or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio) - pivot tables, Vlookups/Sumifs - & SQL
  • Data Analyst Experience (Acceptable experience includes - Financial Data Reporting, Data Governance or Data Control)
  • Banking or Financial Experience
  • 3+ years bank experience, or other data control environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point) including advanced excel functions such as pivot tables, Vlookup and Microsoft Visual Basic (VBA) to supplement SQL skills in data analysis exercises
  • Hands-on experience querying and analyzing large sets of data using SQL
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities skills needed to perform complex data analysis
  • Must possess very strong communication skills with teammates and leadership within Treasury Data Management (TDM)
  • Ability to create executive-ready presentations
  • Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues


Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and prior experience with Liquidity Reporting / Regulatory reporting
  • Basic working knowledge of Tableau
  • Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practices
  • Familiarity with BAC Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standards
