Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Director of E-commerce for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. Our client is seeking the ideal candidate for a eCommerce leadership role that owns, develops, and implements the organization's measurement and analytics strategy through reporting, analysis and building the internal eCommerce analytics discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for educating and aligning the organization to data-driven decision-making across eCommerce, sales, operations, marketing and technology teams
  • Responsible for driving improved revenue generation and customer retention across the rental lifecycle
  • Lead efforts to define and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting, and analyzing eCommerce products and digital marketing, campaigns and programs spanning the rental lifecycle from new customer acquisition to reactivation
  • Provide analytics leadership and expertise to develop KPIs, metrics, ROI models, and dashboards for eCommerce and digital marketing analysis
  • Automate data flows to enable business to use insights and data visualizations in daily and weekly operational standups with product and digital marketing teams
  • Build and maintain trackers, databases, and models related to pricing activities to guide eCommerce pricing strategy
  • Work closely with sales leadership, sales analytics, product and technology teams to ensure model improvements and efficiencies are implemented
  • Responsible for establishing data-driven competitive analysis practices to help ensure a relevant, innovative, differentiated approach by monitoring market trends, researching consumer markets and competitor's activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Define, influence and advance the operationalization of predictive and prescriptive data models to improve cross-selling, inclination to buy, customer lifetime value and customer churn, then educate teams to leverage intel to optimize their tactical execution plans
  • Consult with product and business stakeholders to provide and execute analytical solutions to answer complex business questions and deliver insights to power business decisions
  • Lead strategy and execution plan for A/B and multivariate testing for eCommerce products and digital marketing channels Own and manage all website and mobile app analytics; including tag managers, customer segmentation, crash analytics, and uptime reporting
  • Perform segmentation and analysis of prospect and customer groups
  • Advise ecommerce, sales, and technology leadership teams on data requirements necessary to perform desired analyses; participate in the development of process modifications needed to collect and deliver required data in partnership with technology team data functions
  • Collaborate and build relationships with sales, technology, specialty, fleet, finance and operations to better leverage data to drive improvements in customer experience and revenue generation capabilities
  • Present data analysis and findings in a way that addresses not only the interpretation of the statistical results, but the business implications of the contributing analysis
  • Evaluate, select and manage outside vendors to support eCommerce analytics
  • Manage, coach, mentor a team of analysts to achieve the goals and objectives of the department
  • Manage and adhere to a budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics information technology or equivalent work
    experience
  • 15+ years of ecommerce and digital analytics experience working with
    marketing, sales or operations;
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge web and mobile app analytics (GA360 or similar)
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence and analytics as it relates to processes,
    architecture, data models, data flow, databases, and ETL
  • Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere to take direction and engage appropriate team
    members when needed
  • Ability to effectively perform job duties under high levels of activity, variety of conditions and
    restraints in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of Power BI, Microsoft SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
  • Possesses influencing skills to gain leadership acceptance for plans and budgets
  • Demonstrated excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas
    and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Strong listening, probing, information gathering and interpreting skills to uncover and define
    deliverables, needs and outcomes
  • Team player and leader with cross-functional project leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership, while having fun
  • Experience with budget management
  • MBA in analytics or related business degree preferred
