Job Summary:


Signature Consultants is looking for a ETL Developer to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Developer's role is to design, develop, maintain and enhance interfaces and connectivity to the ONESource ecosystem by coding with a technical language to meet business requirements and business objectives. This can include taking technical specifications and developing an application or integration of data between applications, testing, as well as, completing the appropriate technical documentation. The developer will use best practices in software development and adhere to client development standards, as well as, focus on quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering support to end users in the organization for specific code, including troubleshooting code
  • Translate engineering specifications to software designs
  • Participate in Agile teams
  • Design, develop, and implement of software applications
  • Provide support for software applications under area of responsibility
  • Develop user documentation as well as in-code documentation to explain designs
  • Develop user guides and participate in user training
  • Stay up-to-date on software applications under area of responsibility to always ensure the highest level of service and support to the organization
  • Obtain any certifications needed to be able to effectively support applications in scope?
  • Document troubleshooting instructions (continuous improvement)
  • Collect and evaluate information, formulate as well as test hypothesis
  • Can drive technical validity of solution
  • Review entire problem logs and identify recurring problems
  • Ensure to follow up on problems and process independently related to solutions engineering
  • Participate in seminars, trade shows and oversee internal demonstration facilities etc.
  • Determine opportunities to automate business processes and functions
  • Develop business and technical process documentation and training materials
  • Understand, communicate and reinforce standard business process concepts
  • Establish and maintain relationships with team members within IT and across functional teams
  • Assess situations, determine the problem(s) and propose a solution that provides value to the business
  • Structure requirements to facilitate automation of acceptance tests
  • Develop routines and procedures for data delivery/ingestion
  • Develop routines and procedures that provide data quality checks and balances on data delivery/ingestion
  • Collaborate across the BI / Analytics, DMG, EIA and ONESource teams to establish standards, reusable data models and best practices for delivery/ingestion of data from/to ONESource, Publish/Subscription and API options
  • Stay up to date on Data delivery/ingestion techniques and best practices
  • Monitor the IT ticketing system to ensure timely correction of any incidents
  • Ensure that solutions and services deliver at or above expected business value
  • Participates in industry peer groups to understand industry trends and implements and recommends best practice solutions
  • Drives processes and technology changes throughout the organization in support of business objectives
  • Manage and responds to business-partner feedback to enable continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively up and down the organizational hierarchy in IT
  • Develop and recommends changes to systems, policies and procedures
