Job Summary:

We are seeking a Field Support Technician for an opportunity with a client located in Cupertino, CA. A 3D Vision Support Specialist will be responsible for handling escalated support cases on an international timeline. Responses must be well thought out and easily understandable the as the timeline for returned responses is critical for the success of the projects. Candidate must be a customer support focused person who is self-motivated, friendly and has a passion to solve technical issues in an efficient and effective manner.


  • Design, create, and evaluate training materials and resources to support first level support advisors
  • Analyze and review system log files, generate reports, and conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements
  • Determine technical solutions, and recommend actions to vendor or customer representatives for coordinated product solutions

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to convey complex steps in a simplistic manner
  • Technical aptitude (computer literate, able to quickly learn new applications)
  • Prior support center experience preferred, but not essential
  • Familiarity with various software and hardware
  • Have a flexible schedule, including the ability to work shift and weekends with little notice
  • Demonstrate ability to write documentation (included editing) that is clear, concise, consistent, and accurate
  • Quick learner
  • Expert attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to provide second level support response guidance on technical escalations for software and/or hardware related issues while maintaining all first level support contractors performance metrics
  • Able to prioritize and understand the speed in which to respond
  • Proven proficiency with macOS and iOS
  • Knowledge of scripting and web based languages (python, HTML 5, markdown) is preferred
  • Ability to follow directions via documentation with little to no interaction from management


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements:

  • May require international and/or domestic travel with short notice
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel is highly encouraged
