Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Jr. Compliance/Risk/Audit Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. Our client is looking for the ideal candidates to work on an assignment for 19- 24 months.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining a consolidated testing and validation program
  • Execute independent risk-based testing and validation (T&V) activities to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of front line risk controls and other risk management activities in accordance with the IT&V policy and established processes and procedures


Requirements:

  • IT Audit or Controls TESTING experience (1+ year)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • Previous experience at a bank, Financial Services company, a Big 4 consulting firm, or insurance company
  • 2+ years of experience in risk (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management demonstrated through work or military)
  • 1+ year in the foregoing or financial services industry and a BS/BA degree or higher in business or a related field Audit/testing experience in Financial Services
  • Regulator environments that included the evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls and/or with regulatory compliance testing experience
  • Identifying issues resulting from internal and/or external compliance examinations


Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to credibly challenge status quo
  • Skilled at preparing clear and concise reporting/presentations to be shared with IT&V Leadership that clearly articulates the results/conclusions of testing or validation activities
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong relationship management skills; ability to negotiate difficult positions without harming relationships
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with various levels of leadership
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
