Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Legal Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.


  • Support manager in effort to assure EARL is an end-to-end system solution used by multiple Law Dept. sections and Compliance groups
  • Perform precise and complex processes that including downloading, exporting, and importing data between various vendor-maintained databases and then massaging, formatting, and parsing out the data into a format that can be imported into the EARL database
  • Help vendors make updates to their processes so that both the immediate errors are corrected, and future errors were prevented
  • Maintain the EARL database and supporting tools: develop and document rules for the maintenance of the database processes, rules for data integrity, and rules for the legislative and regulatory scan process
  • Create automated data gathering processes (i.e., macros, transferring information enhancements, etc.) to assure the legislative and regulatory scan and import process runs smoothly and efficiently allowing a large volume of transactions to occur on a daily basis
  • Keep current the procedures and user guides for all EARL modules, creating new procedures documents that outline functionality on the System Admin screen in EARL
  • Provide Customer Support to existing users and cross-train/ mentor RCM colleagues in USA and international regions
  • Effectively communicate with senior level team members from the Law Department, Compliance Group, various bank business lines, and internal/external Auditors

  • Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resources partners and peers

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced understanding of legal and regulatory content sources and authorities around the world that publish laws and rules applicable to Bank businesses
  • Experience in working in risk and compliance systems of record
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Applicable industry certifications including CRCM, CIA, legal degree or paralegal
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
