Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Privacy Project Manager for an opportunity with a client located in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct oversight and monitoring of basic and routine elements of ADC's privacy compliance program including maintaining and updating privacy SOPs, training materials, and other resources
  • Provide guidance on proposed commercial programs and identify basic legal and regulatory issues
  • Work with business stakeholders to continually improve processes and procedures related to monitoring and supporting partnerships and overall operations
  • Serve as a liaison between Privacy and business stakeholders by providing guidelines, checklists, training, resources, and other support to help streamline the submission and review of privacy risk assessments and other requests for privacy support
  • Triage, route, track, and manage the status, ownership, and completion of privacy requests and risk assessments
  • Work with executive assistants and other liaisons to help schedule stakeholder meetings, circulate notes, follow-up with commercial teams on deliverables, etc. to meet project deadlines
  • Work with product and engineering teams to enhance and manage Privacy by Design methodology to support the launch of multiple digital products and privacy initiatives
  • Gather facts and information to coordinate analysis and privacy-related responses to internal audits, customer inquiries, and Data Subject Access Requests
  • Assist with the creation and management of powerpoint slides, metrics, and other tools to help communicate and track Privacy team progress and strategy for senior leadership
  • Monitor and evolve HIPAA compliance program, including training, raising awareness
  • Coordinate and streamline Privacy Notice updates
  • Assist with the development and coordination of training programs and material

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Recognized privacy certifications and experience preferred
  • Preferred location in the Alameda, CA / Bay-area region
  • At least 4-6 years of privacy program management, compliance, or project management experience (healthcare or tech preferred)
  • Highly organized, independent, capable of managing a wide range of diverse projects with minimal supervision
  • Basic HIPAA, GDPR, and knowledge of other privacy regulations a plus
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate complex topics with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, Word, or other technologies to facilitate communicating compel information to stakeholders, manage personal workload, and track projects and issues
