Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Process Risk and Control Consultants (remote until after Covid-19 ~ on site sometime in 2022) for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. Our client is seeking the ideal candidate to work on an assignment for 12 + months (prefer candidates who are eligible to covert to permanent employee).


  • Develop a strong partnership with other SGO teams in order to develop, document, and optimize the processes, tools and technologies carried out by Regulatory Relations
  • Serve as the overall process developer and/or owner working to identify, design, and optimize processes that align with policy
  • Contribute to the development and writing of policy and procedures
  • Work in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to set the data capture standards (e.g., how should a given field be used by the end user, what does 'good' look like for data updates, etc.) to ensure clarity and consistency to help achieve data quality standards
  • Work with other enterprise groups, as appropriate, to ensure enterprise requirements (e.g., RCSA, BPM, Major Requirements) are accounted for and that roles & responsibilities, as well as hand-off points, are clearly defined
  • Help to ensure process risks are identified and mitigated through controls
  • Actively participate in working groups and provide direction and consult in the process and program development
  • Provide leadership in the integration/implementation of programs with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in risk management (includes regulatory relations, compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or
  • 7+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management or at a regulatory agency

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to synthesize information and tell a story through PowerPoint or Visio
  • Experience building and managing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to provide solutions aligned to strategic imperatives
  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Deep understanding of RCSA, operational risk mitigation, and regulatory risk framework
  • Execution oriented, professional demeanor, self-starter behavior and able to recognize opportunities for improvement and to act on those opportunities
