Python Developer

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Python Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Clayton, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs
• Collaborate and consult with colleagues, managers, and peers to achieve common goals and resolve issues
• Deliver engineering solutions that are large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and inductive thinking
• Deliver on priority transformation efforts
• Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise
• Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges
• Partner across various groups to work on complex assignments
• Review and analyze complex programming models to extract data and manipulate databases to provide required information

Required:

• 7+ years of Quantitative Solutions Engineering experience, Analytics, and Reporting OR equivalent experience through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of working with processes that leverage Python, SAS, SQL, and Excel
• 3-5 years of experience as a Python developer
• Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks including Django and Flask
• A deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system
• Familiarity with testing tools
• Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
