React Developer

Responsibilities:

• Working with product owners, business partners, and other developers to create designs for new and existing features Work on product enhancements to new and existing functionality
• Work on enhancing existing component library Review code from other developers
• Help drive architecture designs for the product
• Deploy and test code in our build environment Participate in release planning and execution

Required Skills:

• Javascript: query selectors, native DOM traversal, history, local storage
• ES6: mutating vs non-mutating array methods, sorting, filtering, arrow functions, classical vs functional programming, advanced destructing
• React: props vs state, markdown, styleguide, prop types, portals, children, internal vs external state, component composition, router, hooks, functional components, middleware
• Redux: basic redux pattern, actions vs reducers, accessing/manipulating values
• HTML: semantics, forms, accessibility, typography
• CSS: layout, flexbox, animations, accessibility, white labeling, typography
• SCSS: css scoping, compilation and transpilation using Gulp or Webpack, variables, inheritence strategies Nice to have skills: react-router, webpack, gulp npm, git jenkins, node, svg
