Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Risk and Controls Tester for an opportunity with a client located in Dallas, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Charlotte, St. Louis, Des Moines, IA.


  • Completing customer identification and due diligence processes for Foreign Banks

  • Maintaining the Foreign Correspondent Bank documentation database

  • Establishing and facilitating SWIFT communication with Foreign Banks

  • Evaluating trade activity volume for reporting purposes

  • Assisting the International Trade business unit to resolve due diligence issues in a timely and effective manner

  • Assessing testing results, summarize, and develop management reporting to ECP businesses

  • Providing recommendations to ECP businesses to resolve self-testing exceptions sell difficult concepts/issues as necessary and track open issues until fully remediated

  • Participating in periodic and annual business risk control self-assessment reviews to ensure appropriate and consistent risk, controls and self-tests are identified for all of ECP's business

  • Partnering with business units to define data requirements used to support self-testing program

  • Reporting and assessing testing results within risk systems as applic


  • Resources are expected to learn quickly and should have audit/testing experience, preferably in Financial Services

  • Experience in first line/second line operational and/or compliance based testing experience

  • Experience in auditing through a third line of defense; audit experience (third line of defense)

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry (compliance, risk management, or audit operations) and of governing regulatory agencies (Federal Reserve, OCC, CFPB, etc.)

  • Needs to be detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness of work in alignment with procedures

  • Minimum of four years testing/audit or related experience, preferably in Financial Services
