Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Senior Lead Agile Coach(remote until after Covid-19 ~ on site sometime in 2022) for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC. Our client is looking for the ideal candidate to work on an assignment for 12 months + (prefer candidates who are eligible to covert to permanent employee).


  • Provide coaching for organizational transformation while leveraging functional expertise in Agile
  • Be a thought leader in implementing the Agile Mindset and Methodology through implementing process, principles and practices across levels and business units
  • Coach senior leaders on effective strategic planning that establishes disciplined, effective agile transformation program embracing the Enterprise's agile values and process in a way that maximizes the value to the business
  • Assist business leaders in defining transformational roadmaps, using the Agile framework those processes to reach progressive states of Agile transformation
  • Provide oversight and guidance to team leadership about effective implementation of agile strategy, customized for specific lines of business
  • Capable of seeing the 'big picture' of an enterprise-wide agile transformation and how it positively affects the business as a whole
  • Partner and collaborate with enterprise-level program organization to progress on firm-wide Enterprise Agile transformation

Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • Familiarity with modern to reach progressive states of transformation
  • Demonstrated experience with conducting complex Customer Journey and Product modeling sessions with the line of business and technical areas
  • Seasoned coach who has worked with teams at all levels and used techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency
  • Demonstrated experience educating various roles and levels of people on Agile principles, provide training sessions and teach skills that lead towards organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies
  • Experience leading an Agile Transformation for a Fortune 100 company
  • 3+ years of experience implementing scaled Agile transformation in a complex, silo-driven environment
  • 7+ years as a certified Agile Coach (ICAgile Certified Professional)
  • 7+ years as an active Agile Coach in an environment with 20+ Scrum teams
  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools/software like Jira, Confluence
  • Proficient in Strategic Road-mapping, Product Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead
  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader and Subject Matter Expert of the principles, concepts and theories of Agile methodologies
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

Additional Expectations:

  • Teach, lead, and mentor team members and empower them to make decisions and take actions that will be conducive for the team to complete goals, focusing on what can be done and recognizing opportunities for improvements
  • Lead and coach scrum masters and product owners and cross-functional teams to build, sustain, and strengthen agile values, providing them with the necessary tools and guidance to successfully implement across programs
