Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Software Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Pineville, NC.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems responsible for integrating and maintaining data integrity among multiple disparate applications

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and contribute to the maintenance of databases/data systems

  • Building of APIs and user interfaces to serve information and automate processes for internal stakeholders

  • Contribute to all aspects of SDLC process (SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain)

  • Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence

  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members

  • Provide training and assistance to stakeholders

  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

  • Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

  • Other tasks needed to accomplish team's objectives/goals


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field and/or successful completion of coding boot camp

  • 3+ years of fulltime experience in software engineering roles

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C#, python, java, etc).

  • Experience with the development of user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery and Angular

  • Experience in the development and consumption of REST APIs

  • Understanding of authentication and authorization standards

  • Strong SQL database development and querying skills

  • Experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines

  • Experience with Snowflake and FiveTran a plus

  • Exposure to healthcare data models

  • Experience using Cloud infrastructure tools (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Understanding of DevOps pipeline best practices

  • Statistics and analytics experience

  • Knowledge of project and information management

  • Excellent interpersonal ( verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams

  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities




Travel requirements:

  • Travel may be required up to 20% locally or nationally
