Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Pineville, NC.


  • Collaborates with client project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
  • Conducts interviews to gather end user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
  • Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications
  • Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements
  • Provides guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members
  • Participating in review of defects found in testing to classify as defects or new requirements
  • Assist QA team in manual functional testing of delivered code


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 + years of experience in a systems analyst role, preferably on enterprise level projects
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • IIBA certifications
  • Formal training or certification as Product Owner, Business Analysis, or project/product management
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or TFS


  • Being proactive in organizing people and tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to question whether certain functionality is a must have or not in order to control scope
  • Thinking through problems and suggested solutions to identify strengths and weaknesses in the solution with an eye to future supportability and growth
  • Active listening
  • Consistently keep management and team members advised on progress through effective communication
