Job Summary:

Hunter Hollis is seeking a Staff Accountant for an opportunity with a client located in Dallas, TX.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and review accrual basis general ledgers for respective locations, prepare and record journal entries, calculate monthly accruals and update balance sheet backup schedules

  • Research and resolve AP, AR and cash receipt issues

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly income statement analysis and balance sheet account reconciliation in a timely manner

  • Prepare and remit investor distributions

  • Perform corporate credit card reconciliation monthly

  • Calculate inter-company charge-outs

  • Record biweekly payroll journal entries

  • Process corporate payable

  • Review Financial

  • Assume additional related responsibilities as required

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, required

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Working knowledge of General Ledger software packages

  • Intermediate MS Office skills with advanced MS Excel skills (v-lookups, pivots, formulas).

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both in writing and verbally, with

    management, vendors
