Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Technical Data Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.


  • Analyze and document current state and future state workflows for Investment teams
  • Define business requirements and specifications, and recommend best business practices
  • Production support for trading systems and data feeds
  • Perform detailed data analysis and validation
  • Work closely with Internal developers on production issues and enhancement requests
  • Assist with preparation, coordination, and execution of User Acceptance
  • Testing Design workflows for new data feeds
  • Create technical specification documents based on functional specifications
  • To build Oracle and SQL Server database tables based on existing PACE data model
  • To develop loaders to populate those tables according to functional specifications
  • To extract data from that database for downstream reports/processes according to functional specifications
  • Manage the prioritization, logging and tracking of user related issues, defects, enhancements and work requests


  • 4+ years tech BA/junior dev experience
  • SQL/Teradata Data Visualization - Word, Powerpoint, Excel Jira Agile methodologies
  • Investment management experience - must have experience working with investment data
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, technology discipline or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience implementing or supporting applications and data warehouses
  • 5+ years business analysis and/or system development experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of database, system design, and technical architecture concepts
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and different development models
  • Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines
  • Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
