Technical Writer (Part Time)

Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Technical Writer for an opportunity with a client located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Photoshop or similar software
• Creo Illustrate or similar illustration tool
• Knowledge on Creo or similar design software will be an advantage
• Work one-on-one with other writers to help them deliver their projects
• Guide career development, including training opportunities for team
• Develop and edit exceptional text and video content using industry standards and company style guides
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, triaging and prioritizing with autonomy
• Dig deep into our products in order to understand user workflows and processes, ensuring content is relevant, compelling, and actionable
• Collaborate with partner teams to support software releases, preparing stellar support documentation to coincide with the release
• Identify and propose solutions for improvements to team processes

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills having worked in a team environment
• Experience writing technical documentation for Semiconductor IPs or SoC designs would be a plus
• Familiarity with SOC design, DDR, USB 3.0, PCIE protocols a plus
• A bachelor's degree in writing or related area of study
• Bachelor's degree in writing or related area of study
• An Associate's Degree in a related field is highly desirable
