Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Vulnerability Management Specialist for an opportunity with a client located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support in the modification, design and set-up of applications security
  • Perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
  • Perform compliance scanning to analyze configurations and facilitate implementation of configurations and hardening settings for networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
  • USCYBERCOM directives
  • Perform DoD SCVVI tool and manager servers and performing associated monthly and ad-hoc scans as required on the Network Protection Suites (NPS) and DHA owned and managed systems located in the MHS DMZs, MHS Intranet, or MHS Enclaves
  • Obtain from supported entities required security policy compliance documentation and artifacts
  • Cyber Security Operations (CSO)
  • Technology Controls & Compliance
  • Educate Software Engineers on coding best practices
  • Perform Cyber Security Audits and Penetration Tests mitigation of Cyber Security Vulnerabilities

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 or more years in information security administration, security operation, vulnerability management required.
  • Applied knowledge of vulnerability management
  • Expertise with the usage of vulnerability management solution
  • Technical certifications for industry recognized vulnerability management solutions a plus
  • Understanding of Windows operating system, endpoint applications, networking protocols and devices
  • Practical knowledge of any combination of Payment Card Industry (PCI)
  • Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the software development lifecycle
  • Capable of working under pressure in a continually changing fast paced environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across a global environment
  • Highly organized, capable of understanding large amounts of data, identifying significant risks applicable to Hertz business operations, and consolidating that information into easy-to-understand summaries
  • At least one industry standard certification such as Security+, GSEC, GCIH, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other security vendor certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain technical team and business support to influence a collaborative effort to reduce attack surface
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent teamwork competencies, seeks out opportunities to partner with all stakeholders
